Raisins

Raisins

Raisins are a special type of grape that has been dried for around three weeks, which is packed with several nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, phytonutrients, polyphenols, and several other dietary fibres. All these help in fighting with free radicals in our system, stabilising them, and preventing them from causing oxidative damage to our cells including the white blood cells that form the backbone of our immune system.

There are several different varieties of raisins. The majority of natural seedless raisins, which are dark brown in color, are made from green Thompson seedless grapes, while others are made from drying purple-colored seedless grapes.
